Miscellaneous Help Tips
Browser Requirements and Behavior
Requires Chrome Browser, Full Sized Page, and Certain Screen Resolutions
The application requires the use of the Chrome Browser on desktops and laptops running Windows 7+ or Mac OS. The application also requires the browser page to be open to full size (or very close to full size). The application is optimized for the following screen resolutions 1366x768, 1600x900, 1920x1080.
Screen Resolution, Browser Resizing, Browser Zoom
For better viewability at 1920x1080 resolution, change the Chrome zoom setting to 125%If the application page distorts when you use zoom in Chrome, press F5 or click on the page refresh button at the top left of the browser window.
If the application pages distort when you resize the browser window, don't resize them that much.
Must Allow Popups When Joining a Session
The first time you try to join a session, you may see an alert box come up that says, "allow popup". Click on the popups warning at the top right of the browser, and then click on "Always Allow Popups".
Can only have one login at a time on the same subscription (new)
For the same subscription, if you are already logged in, and you try to log in again, you will receive a message saying that you are already logged in, and giving you the option of cancelling either that prior login or your new current login.
Only one instance of application pages open at the same time
Within one subscription, if you try to open the same application page in a second browser tab or browser window, you will receive a message saying that has been prevented.
Must use a different Chrome "person" to login to separate subscriptions at the same time
If you have two different subscriptions to the Toolkit, and you want to log into the both at the same time, you must login to each of them with a separate "person" in the Chrome browser. For more on this google "chrome people switcher".

Close Menus and Cancel List Row Operations
Adding Assignments and Due Dates in the Same Activity
Skip past the "Add Assignment" Activity; the "Assign To" notes will be there in the "Add Due Dates" Activity, and they can be edited there along with the Due Dates.
Drag and Drop
▪ are highlighted in yellow when the cursor passes over them
▪ are usually directly above, below or inside other map parts
If there is no yellow highlighting, the drop does not occur.
This ensures that Map Parts are only added in their correct locations.
Drag and Drop for Sub-Processes
In the current version of the software, sub-processes cannot be dragged between the Central Process and the Side Columns.
However, these moves can be made using List Row Menus.
- EXCEPTION: Side-Processes that have flows attached to them cannot be moved to the Central Process.
In some cases it is useful to show that Flows go between specific side parts or to and from specific sub-processes, instead of only to and from the Central Process. These situations can be indicated using Flow Connectors (or simply "Connectors").
Connectors are short text codes that can have a variety of formats, for example:
For more information on this topic go to the Flow Connectors page.

Map Part Changes during the "Prioritize Map Evaluations" Activity
While drag and drop is not available during Prioritize Map Evaluations, Map parts can be changed using Row menus.
Deleting High Priority Evaluations
During Plan Activities, if you try to delete a High Priority Evaluations, using the Row Menu "Delete" item, the system will tell you that you cannot delete it because it has a "subordinate item", that you must delete first. The subordinate item is the Map Part that the Evaluation was originally associate with. During Plan Activities, those Map Parts are not selectable. They can be made selectable, and then deleted, by using the "Toggle All Rows Selectable" option in the Main Page Main Menu > Session Controls menu, as shown below:
Please note that the "Make All Rows Selectable" option should be considered an "experimental feature" and therefore should be used infrequently and with caution.
Attaching Newly Imported Map and Plan Areas to Sessions
If you import a Map and Plan Area, you must close and re-open the "Attach and Detach" panel before that newly imported Map and Plan Area will be visible in that panel.
