Flow Connectors
Note: Flow Connectors are now supported by a new feature, "Copy Flow Thru", described at this link.
In some cases it is useful to show that Flows go between specific side parts or to and from specific sub-processes, instead of only to and from the Central Process.
These situations can be indicated using Flow Connectors (or simply "Connectors").
Connectors are short text codes that can have a variety of formats, for example:
- "(P3)"
- "(B05)"
- "[S6]"
- {X5}
- " / 1.0"
- Connector codes are not "built in", they are added by the user to the Flow name.
- Connector codes are highly flexible; there is no set pattern or rule for their use.
- The understanding of the meaning of the Connector is up to the user.
Below are examples of Flow Connectors:
Connector codes can also refer to text within the Map Parts, and not just the Map Part numbers, as shown in the example below.
