Overview
Function:
The purpose of the Screen Share Check feature is to hide information during online workshops when certain of the ActionMap pages are being shared with meeting participants. This applies to these pages:
- Session Administration
- Work Product Management (Map and Plan Areas)
- Attach and Detach Map and Plan Areas from Session (a sub-page of the Main Page)
This feature does NOT apply to the Main Page.
Motivation:
The motivation for using this feature is as follows.
The pages listed above may contain titles of Sessions and Map and Plan Areas that reveal the names of customers, clients and participant groups other than the current group.
During screen sharing while running an ActionMap group session, those pages could be exposed to the current participant group.
As a subscriber, you may not want that information to be shared.
The Screen Share Check feature hides that information, reminding you to turn of screen sharing before accessing those pages.
How It Works
When the Screen Share Check Warning option is "ON", the "cover page" below will appear for these three pages:
- Session Administration
- Work Product Management
- Attach and Detach Model Plan Area from Session
When the green "Show Page Detail" button is clicked, the "cover" disappears, showing the page underneath, for 2 minutes.
If the page is refreshed, the "Check Screen Sharing" cover will re-appear.
If the "Screen Share Check Warning" in the "gear" menu is "OFF", the cover page will not appear and the pages will appear normally.
